Terms and conditions of sale

These general terms and conditions govern the sale of products on safeblue.shop. By placing an order you confirm that you have read and accepted them. They apply in addition to the mandatory protections provided for by applicable EU consumer law.

Seller

The seller is Enrico Terzi, based in Carpi (Modena), Italy — info@safeblue.shop.

Products and prices

All prices are in euro and include VAT. The VAT applied is that of the destination country, calculated automatically at the point of payment. Prices may change over time, but the price shown at the time of your order always applies. Product images are real photographs; slight colour differences caused by your screen do not constitute a defect.

Order and payment

The contract is concluded when you receive the order confirmation by email. Payments are handled by Stripe over an encrypted connection: we accept credit and debit cards and the local methods available in your country. Payment data does not pass through our servers.

Delivery

We ship to 30 countries across the European Union and the European Economic Area, with delivery in 2–5 working days depending on the destination. Costs and times are set out on the Shipping page. The risk of loss or damage passes to you on delivery.

Right of withdrawal

As a consumer you have the right to withdraw within 14 days of delivery without giving any reason (Directive 2011/83/EU). SAFEBLUE voluntarily extends this period to 30 days. The procedure is described on the Returns page. The refund is made within 14 days of your withdrawal notice, once the return has been received; return postage is at your expense, unless the product is faulty.

Legal guarantee of conformity

All products are covered by the 2-year legal guarantee of conformity provided for by applicable EU consumer law. The guarantee covers defects in conformity existing at the time of delivery. Details and the procedure are on the Warranty page.

Nature of the product

SAFEBLUE Classic is a visual comfort accessory with a filtering lens. It is not a medical device and does not replace the advice of an optometrist or ophthalmologist.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Italian law. For consumers, the mandatory and more favourable rules of their country of residence remain unaffected. For disputes with consumers, the courts of the consumer's place of residence or domicile have jurisdiction; the European Commission's online dispute resolution (ODR) platform also remains available.

Language of the contract

The contract may be concluded in Italian, English, German, French, Spanish or Dutch, according to the site language selected at the time of your order.
