Does the orange lens make everything look orange? +
The warm tint is noticeable in the first few minutes — whites look amber. Most people adjust quickly and stop noticing it. For colour work (photo editing, graphics), it's best not to wear them.
Do they really work? +
The physical data is measurable: the lens blocks 99% of blue light between 400 and 500 nm and 85% between 500 and 530 nm. On subjective effects, research is still ongoing: we state the numbers, no health claims.
Glasses or the screen's night mode — which is better? +
Software modes (Night Shift, f.lux) only partly lower the blue output and do nothing about the TV or other screens around you. A physical lens filters everything you look at. You can also combine the two.
Are they available with prescription lenses? +
No, SAFEBLUE Classic comes only with a plano (non-prescription) lens. If you wear contact lenses, you can use them over the top. For prescription options, speak to your optician.
What's in the box and how do returns work? +
Glasses, a hard case with logo and a microfibre cloth. You have 30 days to change your mind: email us with your order number, send them back in the original packaging and receive your refund within 5 days.
